Cynthia Woodley joins Peak Demand
Date: April 24, 2017
Cynthia joins the Peak Demand team as a Cross Functional Support Specialist. Cynthia will work across multiple departments including Human Resources, Customer Service, Purchasing and Accounting.
Cynthia brings over 20 years’ experience in many areas including customer service, purchasing, recruiting, contracts management and supply chain management.
Cynthia received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration from Shaw University.

Peak Demand Announces First Factory in the Americas

As announced by North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory, Peak Demand officially agrees to make Wilson, NC its base of operations in the Americas region.
Governor Pat McCrory, North Carolina Commerce Secretary John E. Skvarla, III, and the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) today announced the expansion of Peak Demand Inc. in Wilson County. The company intends to create 37 jobs over the coming three years. Peak Demand is investing nearly $2.6 million in a new headquarters and manufacturing facility.
“North Carolina’s business climate, talent and quality of life continue to attract companies from around the world,” said Governor McCrory.“Peak Demand builds on an exceptional pool of engineering talent in the power equipment industry and ready access to U.S. and international markets.”

Rodolfo Elizondo Joins Peak Demand

Rodolfo joins the Peak Demand team as Director of Engineering. Rodolfo will oversee the Engineering and R&D departments with responsibility for the implementation of engineer processes and customer-driven product development.
Rodolfo brings over 17 years of experience with low and medium voltage applications in manufacturing and product development from his career at ABB, AlumaForm, Thomas and Betts, CEMEX Mexico and Electro Servicios Elizondo.
Rodolfo has a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, TN and a bachelors degree as a Mechanical and Electrical Enginneer from La Facultad de Ingenieria Mecanica y Eléctrica in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico
Jessica Seelman Joins Peak Demand

Jessica joins Peak Demand as a Quality Manager. Jessica will be responsible for developing quality procedures and customer service system as well as implementing lean principles into manufacturing. Jessica has over 5 years of working experience as a manufacturing engineer at ABB, Inc. Jessica recently completed her Master’s in Quality Systems from East Carolina University and received her Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Mike Bricker Joins Peak Demand

Michael Bricker joins the Peak Demand team as Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Michael will be responsible for development and implementation of manufacturing processes as well as product improvements. Michael brings over 30 years of manufacturing experience with industrial companies such as Cresent Ind., AMP Inc., Tyco Elect, and ABB.
His work experience covers Manufacturing Engineering Management, Project Management, Maintenance Manager and Vendor Development Specialist for domestic and international factory manufacturing startups. His most recent position was an ABB Global OPEX Specialist supporting transformer manufacturing factories. Michael holds four (4) US patents and is a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker. He completed a Manufacturing Engineering program at AMP Inc.
Lei Wang Joins Peak Demand
Date: June 3, 2016
Lei recently joined Peak Demand after 5 plus years of working as a product design engineer at ABB. Lei also interned at ABB’s Corporate Research Center with a focus on Power Electronics. Lei’s new role will be as the Product Design Manager and will oversee the product roadmap and design engineering for Peak Demand’s instrument transformer and bushing product lines. Current and voltage transformers are most commonly used in switchgear, medium and high voltage breakers as well as power transformers.
Lei studied Automation and Electrical Engineering at Dalian University in China. He graduated from Florida State University with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Lei is also currently pursuing a Master’s degree from Georgia Tech in Computer Science.
Michael Murphy Joins Peak Demand
Date: June 2, 2016
Michael joins the Peak Demand team as Product Line Manager of overhead transmission and distribution products. Michael will be responsible for developing long term product and sales strategies and will manage the full product life cycle. Michael will oversee the successful launch of a full line of high quality T&D products.
Michael brings over 8 years of experience with industrial companies such as ABB, Altec and Hagie Manufacturing. He has work experience setting up a production line of surge arresters and capacitors as well as a sales engineer with a focus on fused cutouts and single phase disconnect switches. He spent a year in Brazil setting up a production line of high voltage capacitor banks. He has held roles of increasing responsibility from Industrial Engineer to Sales Engineer to his most recent position as International Sales and Marketing Manager.
Michael has an undergraduate degree in Industrial Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Iowa State University and recently completed his MBA from North Carolina State University.
